Our beloved Holy Wisdom Orthodox Christian parish is 100% supported by freewill offerings.

We do not “take up a collection,” nor do we “pass the basket.” Our Divine Services are not interrupted for such purpose. Instead, the faithful can submit their stewardship offering either by placing it in a basket in the narthex or electronically via PayPal.

The simple fact is that we must meet our financial responsibilities for rent, utilities, insurance, supplies, clergy, etc. We rely on our faithful and our benefactors

If you have any questions about donations or the financial support of Holy Wisdom Mission, please contact our Parish Council Treasurer. All donations are tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt for your gift from the Treasurer.

In the Old Testament, believers were required to give a tenth of their income to the support of the ministry and the needs of the poor. The New Testament teaches that we should give as we are “able and even beyond [our] ability” (2 Corinthians 8:3).

Help Support the National and International Ministries
of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops

The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America is a pan-Orthodox organization that brings together our bishops (hierarchy) united as brothers under Christ the High Priest to serve the needs of the Orthodox faithful.

As such, the Assembly preserves and contributes to the unity of the Orthodox Church in this land, fostering and furthering Her spiritual, theological, ecclesiological, canonical, educational, missionary, and philanthropic aims. These are works that the Church must do, and can undertake better together through these agencies than fragmented among the jurisdictions.

Various Assembly Agencies and Ministries have been established to fulfill core activities of the Orthodox Church: mission (evangelization) and service (philanthropy). You can read and learn more about the efforts of these Agencies and Ministries by clicking the links below.
